In a Dark Tower

Here is a poem from my second collection of poems that was published on Kindle  on January the 22nd 2015. This collection is predominantly a book about depression, but within it there is salvation in the love and wonder of nature.

          Night

The moon rages,

In the twilight of the night.

It’s’ sunlight reflections

Rage with fright.

Wild horses ride across the sky,

The riders all have fallen

Like diamonds scattered all around

And black ink is pouring,

Solemnly to the ground.

The sun has been tamed

Its’ fiery tongues

no longer lick the ground.
